This is just a plain sponge with chocolate swirls.
Very easy to make – make cake mix, add chocolate to one half, swirl in the cake tin and bake!
175g plain flour
4 tbsp of milk
1 tbsp baking powder
2tbsp cocoa powder
Mix everything EXCEPT the cocoa powder in the food processor until smooth, then spoon half of the mixture into a bowl with the cocoa powder and mix well.
Spoon into a lined loaf tin about 19cm by 10cm, alternating plain and chocolate mixtures. Swirl the mixture with a skewer and bake at 180°c for 45 mins.
Remove from oven and remove from tin and place on cooling rack. Slice and enjoy enjoy!
